Lauderdale Oaks is an active 55 and over community comprised of 19 condominium buildings, a beautiful clubhouse, and 3 inviting swimming pools. There are a total of 716 one and two condos. The Lauderdale Oaks Community is administered by Lauderdale Oaks Management Corporation (LOMC). Its Board of Directors is composed of seventeen members (a representative from each condominium sub-association, usually its president (except for condos 1 & 2, and condos 3 & 4 which are represented by the same president per pair, and who carries one vote per condo association under his/her presidency, i.e. two votes each).

The Board of Directors elects an Executive Committee, comprising seven members, which reports to the Board and manages LOMC on its behalf.
Lauderdale Oaks is located east of the Florida Turnpike on Oakland Park Boulevard.
